Halloween is the only time when scaring the crap out of people is acceptable. With haunted houses, creepy costumes, and scary scary movies, the whole point of Halloween is to keep you up at night thinking about the monsters waiting in the dark. My favorite urban legend is "The Babysitter and the Man Upstairs." http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/horrors/a/The-Babysitter-And-The-Man-Upstairs.htm. That link will take you there. It's a remake of the original one created in the 1960's. It's a scary one.
My favorite Halloween costume was when I was little. I was about 6. I wore an alligator costume and painted my face green. I don't know why, but for some reason I've always loved it. I will never wear it again though.
I haven't been to a lot of haunted houses, but I love them. The last haunted house I went to was in Breda this year. I went through twice, and my friends made me lead both time. There was a hallway with absolutely no light, and ran through the whole thing, running into walls constantly. It was awesome. I want to go to the Haunted Forest in Ames this year. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I hope I can celebrate it every year for my entire life. Now that's scary ------------->

I want to know what "Babysitter and the Man Upstairs" is all about. I'll have to Google that. The scariest movie I know is Halloween by John Carpenter. I recall having the following costumes: poodle skirt girl, princess, Baby Bop, bunny, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I have also been to Breda haunted houses. I would like to visit Ames' haunted forest. Did you know that Beauty and the Beast: The Musical premiered there last weekend? I noticed an ad in the daily paper.
ReplyDeleteThe last haunted house I have been to is also the Breda haunted house but it wasn't really that scary.
